Territory Account Manager, Southeast

The Position With a strong focus on team, business development, and customer satisfaction, Tank Stream Design has built a reputation for excellence in our industry. As we continue to grow and expand globally, we are seeking a highly skilled Territory Account Manager to join our team to support current and develop new business in the Southeast, with a sharp focus on the coastal resort market across North Carolina, South Carolina, and Georgia. At Tank Stream Design we strive to understand our partners and build awareness of how our products and services can add value to their business. Our new team member will be a dynamic and motivated Sales Professional, responsible for driving business growth by identifying and securing new sales opportunities while maintaining and expanding relationships with existing clients. They will work independently in the field, representing our company to prospective clients, and will play a critical role in achieving our sales targets. As part of our sales team, you will be the face of our company, using your excellent communication and negotiation skills to share our brands and drive revenue. Key Responsibilities Meet or exceed revenue and profit margin targets for the assigned Southeast territory. Prospecting and Lead Generation Identify and pursue new sales opportunities across North Carolina, South Carolina, and Georgia. Actively seek out new clients through cold calling, networking, and attending industry events. Client Relationship Management Build and maintain strong, long‑lasting relationships with clients by understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions. Identify and pursue new business opportunities, cultivating partnerships to drive revenue and profitability across the Southeast region. Partnership Presentations Conduct in‑person meetings and presentations alongside the Director of Sales, East, to potential clients, effectively communicating the value of our products and services. Continuous product planning and frequent replenishment orders with active customers throughout the year. Track and report on sales activities, progress, and potential leads in the company CRM daily. Provide regular updates to management on your sales pipeline. Market Research Stay informed about market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to identify new business opportunities across the Southeast coastal market. Brand Representation & Retail Support Maintain consistent brand representation across all retail environments. Provide ongoing physical support to accounts throughout the year, evaluating visual merchandising and upholding strong relationships with on‑floor staff. Lead all stakeholders in the project management of staged renovations for retail store partners and shop‑in‑shop concept stores. Travel Travel frequently within North Carolina, South Carolina, and Georgia to meet clients and attend relevant industry events. Must be able to travel extensively within the assigned territory up to 5 days per week by car and air travel when required. Must be able to take recurring overnight trips within the territory when required for travel efficiency. About You / Qualifications Location Requirements Residence in the Carolinas or Georgia, ideally within proximity to a major coastal or resort market. Ability and passion to travel extensively throughout the assigned sales territory visiting our customers in‑person at least one time per month. Must have a reliable vehicle for daily customer visits. Experience & Expertise 3+ years of related direct outside territory sales, business development and merchandising experience. Familiarity with the Coastal Resort landscape in the Southeast — including the Outer Banks, Grand Strand, and Georgia coast — is strongly preferred. Strategic thinker with a track record of achieving sales targets. Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and negotiation abilities with demonstrable executive presence. Strong business analytical skills. Excellent sales and negotiation abilities. Solid understanding of territory sales planning. Proficiency in Microsoft applications. Experience with B2B sales platforms and CRM applications is advantageous. Must have a valid US Driver’s License with a clear driving record, free from any major violations.
