Overview
Interventional Radiology Tech travel assignment in Utica, New York. Start date 11/23/2026 for 13 weeks. 40 guaranteed hours per week on a 4x10-hour day shift (7:00 AM–5:00 PM). This assignment takes place in a hospital setting and includes on-call coverage evenings and weekends.
- Weekly pay: $3,210–$3,259 per week
- Guaranteed hours: 40 hours weekly
- Assignment duration: 13 weeks
- Shift: 4x10-hour day shifts (7:00 AM–5:00 PM)
- Start date: 11/23/2026
- Location: Utica, NY
- On-call: Evening and weekend coverage required; weekend rotation every fourth weekend Responsibilities
- Provide procedural support during interventional radiology cases, including image acquisition and documentation in the electronic health record
- Operate fluoroscopy equipment (C-arm) and assist with image optimization on Siemens Artis-Q systems; work with PACS and EPIC
- Monitor patient status during procedures, manage IV lines and contrast administration, and respond to emergent situations per protocol
- Maintain sterile technique, assist physicians and nursing staff, and help with equipment setup and sterile instrumentation
- Prep and transport patients as needed, verify patient identity, allergies, and relevant medical history; ensure safe transfer to and from procedures
- Collaborate with radiology team, nursing staff, and anesthesia as required; participate in on-call coverage and support OR/ENDO procedures when required Requirements
- Graduation from an American Medical Association (AMA) approved school of Radiologic Technology
- New York state license as a Radiologic Technologist
- ARRT certification and BLS required
- Minimum 1 year of radiology experience; 2 years preferred
- Ability to work in an adult patient population (ages 18+); on-call availability required
- Willingness to float to C-Arm use in OR/ENDO procedures; experience with EPIC, PACS, and associated software
- 75-mile radius rule; locals accepted at local rate Benefits and Support
