Root Cellar Caf Host
Hosts are responsible for handling a variety of aspects of the Root Cellar Caf dining experience. Host will be expected to carry out the duties for their station based on the general description provided in addition to other related job tasks that may not be listed below:
- Manage the waitlist and customer seating
- Maintain organization & cleanliness of host stand
- Answering phones and assisting customers with their questions
- Facilitate to-go orders:
- Coordinate with Bartenders to take & enter to-go orders
- Function as a point of contact for direct and third-party customers ordering to-go
- Deliver orders to customers via in person or curbside pick-up
- Maintain general restaurant cleanliness as needed
- Including bathrooms, patios, dining rooms, and guest thoroughfares
- Provide additional support to servers as needed
- Maintain a tidy dining area by assist in bussing, wiping tables, & resetting tables for the next guest

- Day shift
- Weekend availability
- Holidays
