Responsibilities in Your Role

• Perform in-depth patient evaluations, order necessary diagnostic tests, and create personalized treatment plans
• Independently diagnose and manage acute, episodic, or chronic conditions in partnership with physicians as needed
• Educate patients and their families about wellness, preventative health, and ongoing health management
• Prescribe appropriate medications and therapies as per your practice scope
• Engage in follow-up activities and chronic care coordination
• Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive, integrated care
• Maintain detailed and accurate records in electronic medical systems

Required Qualifications

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
• Graduation from an accredited Nurse Practitioner training program

Essential Certifications

• Valid Nurse Practitioner licensure in California
• National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC), or a relevant specialty
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or ability to attain within 90 days)
