Position Overview

• Work hand-in-hand with radiologists and referring physicians to ensure the delivery of high-quality diagnostic images.
• Efficiently operate and ensure maintenance of imaging equipment, reporting any malfunctions promptly.
• Maintain accurate procedure documentation and keep patient records up to date within the electronic medical system.
• Stay abreast of the latest developments in ultrasound imaging techniques and best practices.

Education Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related field.
• Preferred completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program.

Certifications Needed

• Current certification by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or equivalent.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is preferred.
