Compensation Manager

Location: North Wilkesboro, NC Job Type: Full-Time Language Requirement: Fluency in English (required) Samaritan's Purse is seeking a Compensation Manager to join our Human Resources team in North Wilkesboro, North Carolina . In this role, you will provide strategic leadership for the ministry's organizational structure, job architecture, compensation philosophy, and pay administration programs. This position develops and guides compensation and organizational design practices that reflect Biblical stewardship, internal equity, market competitiveness, and responsible management of Ministry resources. Responsibilities Maintain your personal relationship with Jesus Christ and be an effective witness for Him Lead the development, implementation, and ongoing administration of the organization’s compensation philosophy, strategies, and programs Ensure compensation structures, salary grades, and pay ranges remain accurate, competitive, equitable, and aligned with market data and organizational objectives Oversee compensation benchmarking and market analysis to support informed compensation decisions Direct the annual merit increase process, including the development and administration of the merit increase matrix in support of compensation recommendations Develop compensation modeling, forecasting, and budget analyses to support organizational decision-making Supervise, coach, and develop a team of Compensation Analysts Establish priorities, workflows, and service standards for the compensation function Serve as a trusted advisor to HR leadership and organizational leaders on compensation and organizational design matters Present recommendations, analyses, and strategic insights to senior leadership All other duties as assigned Qualifications & Experience Bachelors degree in a related field and at least five (5) years of related compensation experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Requires experience in compensation administration including job analysis & evaluation, salary survey participation and analysis, and merit administration. Twelve credit hours of college-level Biblical studies strongly preferred SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM‑SCP), HRCI Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR), Certified Compensation Professional (CCP), Strategic Workforce Planner (SWP) or other recognized compensation certification preferred Advanced knowledge and technical aptitude of compensation systems and practices Thorough grasp of HR policy and procedures with experience managing HR compliance and reporting Strong analytical and organizational skills with ability to handle a variety of activities and complexities spanning the organization Ability to collaborate and skillfully influence at all levels of the organization 12 credit hours of college-level Biblical Studies (required); if not already completed, opportunity to meet and complete requirement is available upon hire Benefits On-site Medical Clinic (staff and dependents) Medical, prescription, dental & vision insurance Flexible Spending Account (FSA) Long-term and short-term disability insurance Paid Family Medical Leave Term Life Insurance 401(k) retirement savings plan 10 paid holidays 12 vacation/personal days 10 sick days #J-18808-Ljbffr Samaritan's Purse
