Job Description

The Registered Nurse will provide care in an 8-bed Emergency Department at a critical access hospital. The role includes triage, IV starts, and other emergency nursing procedures. The hospital may consider requests for a blocked schedule if made at the time of profile submission. The electronic medical record (EMR) system utilized is CPSI.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients in the Emergency Department.
• Perform triage and IV starts as needed.
• Record and manage patient information using the CPSI EMR system.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality patient care.

Required Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of RN experience, including travel experience.
• Experience in an emergency department setting preferred.

Certifications/Licensure

• Current RN License (West Virginia or Compact License).
• BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, and PALS certifications required.
