Ophthalmology Director Opening in South Central Vermont

An award-winning independent, community hospital that serves central and southern Vermont is adding an Ophthalmology Medical Director
About the Opportunity:
- Join a dynamic and collaborative hospital-employed practice with an ophthalmologist and optometrist, and a wonderful support team of Certified Ophthalmic Assistants
- Call is 1:4 with minimal call burden
- Assigned OR blocks in a state-of-the-art procedure center to accommodate high-volume surgery
- Updated OR equipment
Compensation/Benefits:
- Robust salary with the ability to earn productivity incentive
- Health, vision, and dental insurances
- Paid Malpractice with tail coverage
- CME allowance
- Signing bonus and relocation expenses
- Educational loan repayment and PSLF eligible employer
Community/Location:
- Located in the beautiful Green Mountains of Vermont close to Killington Resort , which offers the longest ski season in the East, as well as world-class mountain biking, golf, and hiking.
- 90 minutes from Burlington, 3 hours to Boston, and just over 4 hours to New York City
