Dewitt Dental Associates is searching for a skilled, personable Dental Hygienist to join our close-knit team in one of Denver's most sought-after neighborhoods. WHAT YOU'LL DO
Clinical Duties
- Perform dental cleanings, including prophylaxis, scaling, and root planning
- Conduct periodontal assessments and charting
- Take and interpret dental radiographs (X-rays) in compliance with regulations
- Administer preventive treatments such as fluoride and sealants
- Identify signs of oral disease and communicate findings to the dentist
Patient Education
- Educate patients on oral hygiene techniques and preventive care
- Discuss treatment plans and reinforce the dentist's recommendations
- Provide post-treatment care instructions
Clinical Support & Compliance
- Maintain accurate and thorough patient records
- Follow OSHA, HIPAA, and infection control protocols
- Sterilize and maintain instruments and operatory cleanliness
- Collaborate with the dental team to ensure efficient patient flow
WHAT YOU'LL BRING
Required
- Valid Dental Hygienist license in Colorado
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Ability to administer local anesthesia
Preferred
- Previous experience in a dental or clinical setting
- Familiarity with Eaglesoft software is a plus
- Experience with periodontal therapy and patient education programs

- Prolonged standing and use of fine motor skills required
