Job Description Required Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field of study with equivalent combinations of education and experience considered Required Experience: Demonstrated experience leading cross-functional Agile product teams, providing architectural direction, and mentoring developers and technical leads (5 years) Experience as a Data Architect, Software Architect, or Senior Data Engineer, with a focus on collaborative work within cross-functional teams to create new software applications (8 years) Experience leading solution architecture and establishing the overall technical vision for large-scale enterprise projects involving integrations between systems (5 years) Experience leading domain modeling and database schema design for transactional and reporting systems (4 years) Strong communication skills, including the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and influence decision-making (5 years) Preferred Experience: Experience aligning data architecture with organizational data strategies, digital service delivery goals, and emerging AI-enabled business capabilities (3 years) Experience applying data governance principles to ensure data consistency, quality, compliance, metadata management, and responsible use of data for analytics and AI solutions (3 years) Experience applying secure development practices and managing identity and access using role-based access control, attribute-based access control, and Zero Trust Architecture principles (4 years) Experience architecting solutions that leverage relational and non-relational databases, analytics platforms, and AI technologies, including data modeling, performance optimization, and delivery of actionable insights (5 years) Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams to embed data interoperability and standardization practices into product development workflows (2 years) Experience incrementally transforming legacy systems into modern digital and data-driven services across multiple releases, leveraging cloud-native and AI-enabled technologies where appropriate (5 years) Experience working with enterprise Information Technology / Information Management policies, standards, and guidelines (2 years) Experience working within a large and complex organization supporting enterprise-scale data, analytics, and digital transformation initiatives (3 years)

Job Overview: This role is responsible for overseeing software and data architecture, aligning individual services with a common architectural vision, and supporting the iterative delivery of complete, user-centered digital solutions As the senior technical resource within a cross-functional product team, the Digital Architect guides the rapid delivery of scalable services while ensuring solutions align with established technical standards, coding practices, platforms, tools, data architecture principles, and enterprise objectives

Job Responsibilities: Lead the solution architecture of digital services by: Developing the overall architectural plan while supporting citizen-centered design and Agile software delivery Identifying and documenting the existing system context Providing recommendations and prototypes to support technical discovery and feasibility assessments Developing and maintaining solution designs that support iterative implementation Analyzing solution impacts, technical exposure, dependencies, and risks Guide the implementation of digital services by: Facilitating frequent product delivery to ensure the target architecture is successfully implemented Determining the tactical approach for integrations and defining the target state of system boundaries and interactions Identifying opportunities to leverage reusable components and capabilities available across other digital services Encouraging the product team to identify and develop opportunities for reuse across digital solutions Providing guidance on the creation of detailed solution implementation designs Reviewing application and solution code changes Contributing to code changes when necessary to implement user stories and complete technical tasks Providing technical coaching and mentorship to members of the product team
