Position Overview: As a Production Technician ,you’rea member of a production crew, reporting toa supervisor of an assigned production area.You willcontribute to the success of Ball byobservingoperating principles of all assigned equipment and standard operating procedures (SOPs) for your area of responsibility. YourKeyResponsibilitiesInclude: Follow all 5S standards and job safety practices and policies including but not limited to food safety; personal protective equipment; emergency procedures, etc. Operate,adjust,and repair high-speed production equipment to meet plant production goals. Assistwith performing preventative maintenance on assigned equipment. Inspectaluminiumfor proper quality standards and customer specifications. Build positive relationships across designated team by effectively collaborating, communicating, and upholding ethical integrity. RequiredExperience andSkills: High School Diploma orequivalent education. 1-year minimum experience in a mechanical job-related field withdemonstratedmechanical troubleshooting skills. Proficiencyin the use of hand and power tools. PreferredExperienceandSkills: 2years’work experience in a high-speed manufacturing environment. PhysicalEnvironmentandWorking Conditions: May be subject toall ofthe following, but not limited to: Hot/Cold working conditions. Standing and walking for prolonged periods of time. Climbing (stairs, and other equipment as necessary).
