Job Opportunity

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Multimodality Technologist to perform CT and X-ray procedures in a dynamic healthcare environment. This position requires recent experience in both modalities and involves working in a pediatric emergency department.

Shift Details

• Schedule: Day Shift (3x12-Hour) from 07:00 AM to 07:30 PM
• Location: Children's Hospital, City, State
• Orientation: Required hours for training will be provided.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality CT and X-ray imaging procedures.
• Accurately manage patient care by obtaining and documenting patient medical histories.
• Administer contrast media as prescribed and monitor patient responses.
• Collaborate with other medical professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops and reviewing professional publications.

Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum of 1 year experience in Multimodal Imaging; 2 years preferred.
• Certs Required: ARRT R, BLS, ARRT Advanced Certification.
• Charting Experience: Proficiency in EPIC charting system required.
• Patient Care Experience: Experience in adult acute care and pediatric settings is preferred.
• Preferred Background: Experience in Level I Trauma and LTAC settings is a plus.

Skill Set Required

• Proficient in abdominal imaging without and/or with contrast.
• Expertise in performing brain perfusion, chest imaging, and multiplanar reconstruction (MRP).
• Ability to initiate peripheral IVs and work collaboratively in emergency environments.
• Experience in pediatric imaging, including care in NICU and PICU settings.

Patient Population

This role will involve working with a diverse patient population including neonates, infants, children, adults, and geriatrics. The daily census and number of patients will vary, providing a dynamic work environment.

Additional Information

Candidates may be required to float to the main hospital location as needed to ensure continuity of care. All candidates will undergo background checks and may be subject to fingerprinting as part of the hiring process.
