Substitute Bus Driver

Bus DriverServe as a member of the District's transportation team; provide students with safe and efficient transportation to and from school so they can fully benefit from the learning opportunities available through the District's instructional program; provide transportation for students and staff on field trips, out-of-school activities, and/or athletic trips as may be assigned; work cooperatively with District and building-level personnel on busing issues to ensure an effective, quality transportation program.Qualifications:High school graduate or equivalent requiredDemonstrated aptitude for and competence in operation of a school bus, both for a regular route and for school activitiesPossession of, or ability to obtain, a Wyoming CDL class B, with passenger, air brake, and school bus endorsements.Demonstrated ability to work effectively and cooperatively with members of the transportation team, parents, students, and other District staffAbility to meet the requirements outlined in the District's Activity/Route Bus Driver's HandbookWillingness to abide by all District guidelines for bus drivers/transportation and to adapt to specific or new working situationsSalary: District Support Services Wage Schedule (Base=$17.25/hour)Employment Term: Up to four and one-half (4.75) hours per day for route assignment plus assigned activity trips during school year – 175 days for 2021-2022 school yearBeginning Date: ASAP Closing Date: Until filled
