This is a union role. You will report directly to our Maintenance Supervisor, and you’ll work out of our Golden Valley, MN location on an On-site work schedule. In this role, you will impact the reliability and performance of Honeywell’s manufacturing and operational assets by performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting issues, and supporting repair activities to minimize downtime and maximize productivity. The Electrician will perform installation, replacement, repair and troubleshooting maintenance of electric circuitry associated with production and facility equipment. Key Responsibilities Hook up power, lighting and temperature controls (switch, lights, relays, etc.) Determine appropriate components, wire size, protective covering and wiring layout Diagnose problems quickly to identify the causes of problems and determine effective courses of action to avoid extended periods of equipment downtime Report serious trouble to Supervisor in a timely manner to expedite additional resources as needed Order supplies as required The work environment includes exposure to dust, heat, humidity and other factors Qualifications

YOU MUST HAVE

Minnesota Journeyman’s License Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematic drawings related to equipment and systems, along with an understanding of Ohms Law Experience in performing maintenance tasks in an industrial or manufacturing environment Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment for maintenance activities Familiarity with safety regulations and practices to maintain a safe work environment Ability to work with advanced mathematics, all types of circuit drawings and test equipment Training and/or experience working with the following: Programmable Logic Controllers, Variable Frequency Drives, and Automation Controls
