Litigation Paralegal

Job Description Job Description A well-established CBD firm seeks to immediately find an experienced Litigation Paralegal to support its general liability / insurance defense practice . This position offers a collaborative team environment, and the opportunity to work on sophisticated litigation matters with a phenomenal litigation team. This role is ideal for a paralegal who is comfortable managing files in a fast-paced defense practice and enjoys taking ownership of cases from initial intake through trial preparation. Responsibilities Assist attorneys with all phases of civil litigation, with a focus on general liability and insurance defense matters Draft and prepare pleadings, discovery, and correspondence Manage document production, review, and organization Coordinate depositions, hearings, mediations, and expert witnesses Prepare medical records summaries and chronologies Maintain case calendars and track deadlines Prepare trial notebooks, exhibits, and witness materials E-file in state and federal courts Communicate with clients, carriers, experts, and opposing counsel Qualifications 3+ years of litigation paralegal experience, preferably in insurance defense, general liability, or civil litigation Prior defense litigation experience is a must Strong knowledge of litigation procedures and deadlines Experience with document management and e-filing systems Ability to manage multiple cases and work independently Excellent organizational and communication skills Trial preparation experience preferred A bachelor's degree and /or paralegal certification is a must Why Apply A great corporate culture and location Competitive salary and full benefits package Opportunity to work on complex, high-value cases Supportive team with long-term growth potential Be the envy of all your friends!
