Job Summary:
Operating Room (OR) Nurse position available in a healthcare facility. This role requires a skilled professional experienced in perioperative care, responsible for providing expert nursing services during surgical procedures across various specialties including pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients. The position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment with a focus on patient safety and quality care.

Job Details:

• Schedule: 8-hour shifts, days from 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Bachelor's of Science Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred; 1 year of experience in the operating room or similar clinical setting required; RN License in state of employment or compact; BLS certification via AHA required; ACLS certification via AHA required; PALS certification via AHA required.
• Preferred Qualifications: None specified.
• Additional Information: This role involves caring for pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients undergoing various surgical procedures such as pain management (including injections and Kyphoplasty), ENT surgeries (ear tubes, tonsils, sinus, thyroid), urology (cysto, TURP, PCNL, Lithotripsy, robotic sacrocolpopexy, partial kidneys), gynecology (total laparoscopic hysterectomy, ablations, D&C), podiatry, general surgeries (cholecystectomy, appendectomy, hernias), and some orthopedic procedures (hip pinning, knee scope, shoulder scopes). No C-sections or deliveries are included in this position.
