What You'll Do As a Certified Veterinary Technician, you'll play a vital role in patient care and work alongside experienced veterinarians to provide exceptional medical treatment. Responsibilities Include Assist with anesthesia, including calculations and patient monitoring Intubate patients and support all anesthesia-related procedures Place and monitor IV catheters Prepare patients and surgical suites for procedures Perform surgical nursing duties, including patient intake and discharge Rotate between inpatient and outpatient care Collaborate closely with veterinarians, who value technician input and communication Deliver compassionate patient care while educating clients Please Note: Candidates must be comfortable assisting with surgery. This position does not provide surgical mentorship, so prior surgical experience is required. What You'll Bring to the Team Graduate of an AVMA‑accredited Veterinary Technician program. A current state veterinary technician license (CVT) in good standing. Proficiency in a range of technical skills, including nursing, surgery, dental care, radiology, and laboratory procedures. A calm and efficient approach, especially in fast‑paced or stressful situations. Strong communication skills and a passion for working collaboratively. One year of experience in the veterinary industry is preferred.
