Senior Full Stack Developer

Position Overview Seeking a Senior Full Stack Developer to support enterprise‑scale warehouse and supply chain applications operating in a cloud‑native Kubernetes environment. This role requires strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Kafka, Kubernetes, and Dynatrace, along with hands‑on experience troubleshooting production systems and working within distributed, event‑driven architectures. The ideal candidate will possess strong backend development skills, production support experience, and the ability to independently resolve complex operational issues. Location: Blue Ash, Cincinnati, Ohio (Hybrid). Key Responsibilities Full Stack Development – design, develop, and maintain scalable microservices, build Java‑based microservices with Spring Boot and Spring Cloud, develop and maintain RESTful APIs, and collaborate across frontend and backend systems. Kubernetes Platform Support – deploy and support applications in Kubernetes, troubleshoot clusters, pods, services, ingress controllers, networking issues, and deployment failures, and support platform stability and resiliency initiatives. Kafka & Event‑Driven Development – develop Kafka producer/consumer integrations, implement retry mechanisms, dead‑letter queue patterns, asynchronous messaging, fault tolerance, recovery strategies, and monitoring. Production Support & Monitoring – utilize Dynatrace for performance monitoring, tracing, alerting, root‑cause analysis, and participate in incident response. DevOps & CI/CD – build and maintain deployment pipelines using Harness, manage artifacts with JFrog Artifactory, support containerized deployments and rollback strategies, and collaborate with DevOps teams on automation initiatives. Leadership & Collaboration – partner with architects, product owners, QA, DevOps, and business teams; conduct code reviews, sprint planning, architecture discussions, and produce technical documentation; mentor junior engineers and promote best practices. Ideal Candidate Profile Strong Kubernetes production troubleshooting experience. Deep expertise in Java and Spring Boot microservices. Understanding of distributed systems and event‑driven architectures. Demonstrated ownership and operational support experience. Effective communication with technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
