A Day in the Life

As a Member Personal Banker , you are the face of our Credit Union. You will:

• Consult & Advise: Act as a financial partner for our members, you will be responsible for identifying opportunities to save & earn them money through cross-selling products like CDs, IRAs, and specialized lending solutions.
• Advocate & Educate: Our members aren’t financial service professionals, so it’s our job to provide information and educational opportunities to give them the information necessary to stay informed. Financial education is at the core of the credit union spirit.
• Build Relationships: Lead proactive outreach to existing members to ensure their financial health is on track. Because we do not sell for the sake of selling, we have earned the trust of our members. That means that everything we recommend to our members has to have a purpose: to benefit the member .
• Be the Expert: Maintain a deep knowledge, and understanding, of Credit Union promotions and services to provide "first-rate" guidance. If you don’t know about a product, or service, we encourage you to find a teammate who does.
• Champion the Community: Participate in local outreach programs and events that represent our brand and give back.
• Ensure Excellence: Handle account maintenance, scan-to-file documentation, and maintain a pristine, professional branch environment members are comfortable stepping into.

What You’ll Bring

• Experience: 2+ years in banking, high-end retail, or a goal-driven sales environment.
• Education: High school diploma or GED required.
• Communication: Exceptional verbal and written skills (Bilingual in Spanish is a huge plus!).
• Technical Savvy: Proficiency with Microsoft Office and the ability to quickly learn financial software.
• The "Service" Attitude: A positive, dependable, a mature approach to problem-solving, and ensuring the needs of your members are your top priority.
