Job Summary The Service Manager is responsible for overseeing equipment readiness, service operations, inventory control, and personnel coordination to support project execution. This role ensures company assets are properly maintained, repaired, and available to meet operational needs while promoting a strong safety culture, maintaining quality standards, and providing excellent customer service. Key Responsibilities Ensure all project equipment needs are identified, sourced, and available to support operations. Maintain adequate rental inventory levels to meet daily business and project demands. Oversee service and repair activities for serialized and non-serialized company assets, ensuring compliance with quality control procedures. Perform hands‑on maintenance and repair of motorized equipment as needed. Coordinate daily service activities with Operations, Construction, and Sales teams. Attend project coordination meetings to support equipment and workforce planning. Maintain accurate documentation for all inbound and outbound materials and equipment. Conduct daily safety talks and ensure compliance with company safety policies and procedures. Promote and support a strong safety culture through adherence to the company's Safety‑First initiatives. Occasionally operate company vehicles as business needs require. Assist with workforce coordination and operational problem‑solving to ensure project success. Perform other duties as assigned to support branch and project operations. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required. Previous supervisory experience required. Mechanical aptitude and equipment repair experience required. Strong customer service, communication, and relationship‑building skills. Proven decision‑making, problem‑solving, and conflict‑resolution abilities. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment. Valid driver's license with a clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) required. Ability to occasionally lift and carry 75 pounds or more. Experience in construction, equipment rental, industrial services, or a related field preferred. Position requires on‑site work; relocation assistance and per diem are not offered.
