Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Labor and Delivery Discipline: RN Start Date: ASAP Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Start Date: ASAP Shift: Nights, 12-hour shifts Hours: 36/week Unit: L&D with 7 labor beds, 2 triage beds, and 10 postpartum beds EHR: Allscripts Requirements: 3 years L&D experience, ACLS, BLS, NRP, NIHSS, and Intermediate or Advanced Fetal Monitoring Experience: C-section experience, high-risk OB experience, fetal monitoring proficiency, pre-eclampsia care, and OB emergency response Patient Population: Labor, delivery, postpartum, couplet care, and high-risk OB patients Ratios: Typically 1:2 Volume: 1–3 births per day; approximately 830 births per year Weekends: Minimum 3 weekend shifts per 4-week schedule Call: 1 shift per 4-week schedule Float: May float to Med Surg or ED if experienced United Staffing Solutions Job ID 1109716.
