The GNS Team has responsibilities of Customer Service, Network Management, Service Provider Management, Procurement, and Compliance amongst many others. The Transportation Planner is a GNS Central position assisting in all aspects of daily line-haul network operations and support. Main focus on administration and branch support, but will also assist in monitoring all carriers and ad hoc activity for on-time departures, load tracking in transit, and timely arrivals. This person may arrange contingencies when needed and communicates delays and issues between branches, gateways, and carriers. GNS Transportation Planner should be detail oriented, curious, and flexible to identify and solve issues quickly and accurately. The Transportation Planner will have regular and consistent communication with the Expeditors Network, the GNS Network (central and regional hubs) and Service Providers.
