Flight Nurse

Job Title Flight Nurse Role Overview Provide safe, efficient patient transport via air, including scene call work, in critical care situations. Work collaboratively with air and ground teams, ensuring high safety standards and professional communication. Maintain a well-stocked, clean aircraft and adhere to safety protocols and documentation requirements. Accountable for ongoing certifications and training to meet professional standards. Responsibilities Include Assess patient conditions, support, monitor, and treat critically ill or injured patients. Utilize critical thinking and support physicians’ orders. Ensure aircraft safety, equipment checks, and compliance with safety standards. Communicate effectively with team members and document accurately. Maintain required certifications and participate in ongoing training. Qualifications Minimum of three years’ experience in Emergency or Adult Critical Care nursing. Current RN license in applicable states. EMT and Trauma certifications as required. BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP certifications (NRP provided during training). Certified Registered Flight Nurse (CFRN) within 24 months of hire. Preferred Skills Prior flight experience. Instructor certifications in BLS, ACLS, PALS/PEPP, ITLS/PHTLS. #J-18808-Ljbffr
