Job Description

We are seeking a HVAC Journeyman Pipefitter proficiency in fabricating and installing various HVAC piping systems is a fundamental requirement for this position. The HVAC Pipefitter is tasked with completing projects in a timely manner. This position will maintain high quality performance on the job, excellent working relationships with customers, a high level of coordination and communication with team members.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to include ensuring that all work is carried out in strict compliance with applicable codes, specifications, and Controlled Air

· Proficient in pipe-fitting techniques such as soldering, brazing, and welding.

· Knowledge of plumbing codes and standards.

· Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.

· Experience with tube bending and caliper usage for precise measurements.

· Familiarity with fire sprinkler fitting installation.

Duties

· Install, assemble, and maintain pipes and pipe systems according to specifications and codes standards.

· Cut, thread, and bend pipes using hand tools or machines.

· Weld, solder, or braze pipes and fittings together using various techniques such as FCAW (Flux-Cored Arc Welding).

· Measure and mark pipes for cutting and threading.

· Inspect and test installed pipe systems for leaks or defects.

· Read and interpret blueprints to determine the layout of pipe systems.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
• Weekend work ocassionally

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Preferred)

Experience:

• hvac pipefitter: 3 years (Required)
• Blueprint reading: 3 years (Required)

Ability to Commute:

• Houston, TX 77066 (Preferred)
