This role is ideal for someone who enjoys staying close to the bench while also helping support and guide a small team. You’ll play a key role in assay execution, method support, and day-to-day lab operations in a fast-paced environment.What You’ll DoHands-On Assay WorkExecute cell-based assays, ligand-binding ELISAs, and related workflowsPerform routine tasks such as cell plating, dilutions, and 96-well plate workApply strong aseptic technique and pipetting skills in a GMP settingMethod & Lab SupportAssist with method qualification, transfer, and troubleshootingHelp ensure consistency and quality of assay executionDocumentation & ComplianceAccurately record work in lab notebooks/e-systemsFollow GMP documentation practices and data integrity standardsTeam Support Help coordinate daily lab activities and support team workflowProvide guidance and training to junior team members as neededAct as a go-to resource for technical questions on the teamCollaborationWork closely with clients, peers and supervisors to meet timelines and deliverablesContribute to a positive, team-oriented lab environmentQualificationsEducation & ExperienceBachelor’s degree with >6 years of relevant industry experience & supervisory experience, or;Master's degree with >5 years of relevant industry experience & supervisory experience, or;PhD with 4+ years of relevant industry experience & supervisory experience Minimum 4 years of hands‑on industry lab experience (GMP required; academic‑only backgrounds are not a fit)Strong technical background in cell‑based assays, reporter‑gene assays, ELISAs, 96‑well plate workflows, multi‑channel pipetting, cell culture, cell counting, and cell bankingLeadership & CollaborationDemonstrated leadership experience Technical depth may offset the need for formal leadership experience.Thrives in a high‑visibility, highly collaborative environment with interaction across teams and clientsCommunication & Work StyleExcellent written and verbal communication skills — able to handle tough questions and think on your feetDetail‑oriented, self‑driven, and adaptable in a fast‑paced, plate‑based workflowStrong prioritization skills with a proactive, solution‑focused mindsetCompliance & DocumentationStrong documentation discipline and a GMP‑aligned mindsetAble to maintain accurate, audit‑ready records and follow procedures consistentlyComfortable supporting audit activities and representing the team with confidenceAdditional InformationPosition is full-time, first-shift, Monday-Friday 8AM-5PM with overtime as needed.
