Our team of radiation oncologists, dosimetrists, physicists, therapists and nurses are all specially trained to treat specific cancers, and we work side-by-side with other Johns Hopkins experts, including surgical oncology, medical oncology, pathology, and interventional radiology to create individualized treatment plans for each patient, using targeted technology. Our patient safety program - cited as one of the best in the nation - employs quality assurance protocols and innovative techniques to ensure the safety and well-being of all our patients. We ensure that each patient is put at ease to ensure thorough preparation for treatment. Johns Hopkins Radiation Oncology department is currently searching for a full-time Sr. Radiation Therapist to join their team. As a Senior Radiation Therapist, you will: Assist in localizing tumors, participate in treatment planning and delivering Ionizing radiation therapy Act as primary liaison between patients and radiation team Ensure patient safety Weekly chart review for quality assurance Train Radiation Therapy students and new staff What Awaits You? Graduate of an approved Radiation Therapy Technology program Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Radiation Therapy State certification for Medical Radiation Technologist Three (3) to five (5) years clinical experience in all modalities as a radiation therapist Three (3) years’ experience within a comprehensive cancer center Salary Range: Minimum 45.28/hour - Maximum 74.76/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
