Responsibilities Assist veterinarians in surgical procedures, including prepping animals, monitoring anesthesia, and providing post‑operative care. Perform dental cleanings, diagnostic dental areas, and other dental procedures under the supervision of a veterinarian. Administer medications, vaccines, and treatments as directed by veterinarians. Monitor vital signs and provide compassionate care to animals throughout their stay in the surgery and dentistry department. Maintain accurate and detailed medical records. Collaborate with a diverse team of veterinary professionals to ensure seamless patient care. Create detailed medical discharge instructions for our client’s pets. Requirements Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Veterinary Technician, with a strong focus on surgery and dentistry. Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) or Veterinary Technician Specialist (VTS) certification is preferred. Proficiency in surgical and dental equipment usage and maintenance. In‑depth knowledge of anesthesia protocols and monitoring techniques. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively interact with clients and team members.
