Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients' mental health needs and challenges, utilizing standardized tools and clinical interviews.

• Deliver effective individual therapy sessions through telehealth, employing various modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy, mindfulness-based practices, or solution-focused therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a counselor at Prairie Counseling Center, you will primarily work with a diverse clientele that includes individuals facing trauma, anxiety disorders, depression, relationship issues, and other mental health challenges. Your role will involve fostering a safe space for clients to express themselves, understand their emotions, and emulate an active partnership in their healing journey.

Qualifications\n

• A current and valid state license in Texas as an LCSW, LPC, LMFT, or PsyD.

• A master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect compassionately and effectively with clients.

• Demonstrated empathy and a non-judgmental attitude towards clients from various backgrounds.

Compensation and Benefits\n
