The position is accountable for achieving targets related to safety, quality, delivery, inventory, and productivity.**Essential Duties and Responsibilities**Along with those identified below, other duties may be assigned.* Train associates in proper manufacturing techniques.* Implement and ensure RBS tools are being followed. (Standard Work, Kamishibai Audits, Daily Management, Cross Training, Kanban, etc.)* Ensure associates comply with Company policies and procedures.* Work with Supervisors and Leads for proper cell staffing.* Daily Management of SQDIP objectives & goals (Safety, Quality, Delivery, Inventory, and Productivity).* Responsible for implementation of countermeasures for misses to daily/weekly KPI goals* Disciplinary Action when necessary* Responsible for the proper handling and disposal of hazardous waste* Responsible for managing production work schedules* Deliver products that meet all quality, cost, and quantity requirements* Maintain working relationship with the union by following the terms of the collective bargaining agreements.**Qualifications and Experience Levels*** Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or related field preferred, or equivalent work experience.* Minimum of 5 years-experience in a manufacturing environment required; electronics manufacturing preferred.* Minimum 3 years supervision experience in a production environment required.* Experience with ISO:9001 and AS9100 preferred* Experience with lean manufacturing preferred**Self-Management*** Adhere to health, safety and environmental policies and procedures to ensure the safety and wellbeing of self, other staff and visitors* Assertive, optimistic and welcomes change* Engages interest and participation of others* Proactively contributes to the team* Is self-aware and has a collaborative approach to working with others* Shows moral courage, openness and honesty in all dealings* Resilient, flexible and works well under pressure**Skills and Attributes*** Excellent communicator with the ability to communicate complex concepts to others* Able to form and maintain good relationships internally and externally* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills* Strong numeracy, statistical and reporting skills with the ability to analyze, interpret and manage information, data and trends* Excellent attention to detail skills* Results driven**Physical Demands:**While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear.
