Apex has a fully-remote opportunity for a Solution Architect. This is a 12-month contract position and the pay rate is flexible depending on experience. Here are the details:

Position: Network Solutions Engineer/Architect

Location: Fully Remote

Duration: 12+ month contract

Position Description:

Your Day-to-Day Tasks

• Define the vision for domain and solution architecture across a complex business process and systems landscape
• Peer support to the Delivery Managers providing structural integrity to technical delivery
• Ensure the acceptance and approval of the solution architecture and design through relevant governance stages
• Support the development of Digital Roadmap with Enterprise Architecture and Product Teams
• Work with Business Partners to establish future workstreams/architectural demands

Your Experience

• Demonstrable track record in delivery of solution architecture for programs of work.
• Stakeholder management and influencing skills covering colleagues, partners / vendors and project sponsors.
• Broad experience of TOGAF architectural principles
• Broad enterprise architectural experience (both in consultation and execution capacity)
• Full Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC) processes and tooling experience

What you'll need

• A Bachelor’s degree in computer science, industrial engineering or similar discipline; or equivalent work experience with relevant industry/professional certifications
• A relevant industry/professional certification
• A minimum 5 years’ professional experience acquired in relevant roles and domains
• Explicit OT (Operational Technology) experience – Demonstrable.

• Proven ability to build credible and long-term working relationships within IT, business teams and third-party suppliers and demonstrate influence in a team environment
