Job Summary
Aspire Senior Living Pleasant Hill is seeking a compassionate and skilled Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join our dynamic rehabilitation team! As a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) at our Pleasant Hill, MO location, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of seniors and contribute to their physical well-being and quality of life. Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) Responsibilities
Work under the supervision of licensed physical therapists to design and implement individualized treatment plans for our residents
Conduct physical therapy treatments, including exercises, stretches, and modalities, to improve our residents' strength, flexibility, and range of motion
Monitor and document resident progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed
Develop and maintain effective relationships with our residents, families, and healthcare team members
Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to coordinate care and share knowledge and best practices
Stay current with evidence-based practices and maintain compliance with regulatory requirements
Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) Requirements
Current certification as a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) in the state of Missouri
Ability to lift 50 pounds and perform physical demands of the job
Effective communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks
