Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | Days | 10-hour shifts, 4 days per week | Rotating call schedule: 7 days every 6 weeks, including one weekend

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as a Registered Nurse First Assistant (RNFA) in surgical procedures
• Assist surgical team during operative cases including total joint procedures (primarily knees and hips)
• Support robotic-assisted surgical cases utilizing the da Vinci Xi system
• Participate in rotating on-call coverage, including weekends, as scheduled

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse First Assistant (RNFA) certification
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Active North Carolina RN license or valid Compact RN license

Preferred Experience / Skills

• 3–5 years of experience as an RNFA
• Experience with da Vinci robotic surgical systems (Xi model preferred)
• Total joint surgical experience, particularly with knee and hip procedures
