Registered Nurse - Cardiac Catheterization Lab

Location: North Philadelphia, PA

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: 4 x 10-hour shifts weekly, Monday through Thursday, from 08:00 AM to 06:30 PM, including on-call assignments.

Job Description: The Cardiac Cath/EP Lab is a high-volume, 6-room unit with 9 holding bays. As a Registered Nurse in this department, you will be working in a Level-1 Trauma Center, providing care for a wide range of cardiac procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate and care for patients before, during, and after cardiac catheterization procedures.
• Administer medications and monitor patient vitals throughout the procedure.
• Maintain a high standard of care, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
• Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team in a fast-paced environment.
• Prepare and assist with diagnostic and therapeutic cardiac procedures, including PCI and Structural Heart interventions.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a cardiovascular setting.
• Previous travel experience is required.
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications are mandatory.
• RCIS certification is recommended.
