As a Delivery Driver, you will play a crucial role in ensuring timely and accurate delivery of products to our valued customers.Safely operate delivery vehicles and equipment to transport products to customersLoad and unload products, ensuring proper handling and organizationNavigate efficiently through assigned delivery routes using maps and GPS technologyProcess customer orders and handle cash or electronic payments accuratelyMaintain a clean and organized delivery vehiclePerform basic vehicle maintenance checks and report any issues promptlyProvide exceptional customer service, addressing inquiries and resolving concernsAssist with inventory management and stock rotation as neededAdhere to all company policies, traffic laws, and safety regulationsComplete necessary paperwork and maintain accurate delivery recordsQualificationsValid driver's license with a clean driving recordExcellent navigational skills and familiarity with GPS technologyStrong math skills for processing payments and managing inventoryEffective verbal and written communication abilitiesProficiency in using computer systems, including keyboards and touch screensPhysical stamina to lift and carry products of varying weightsAbility to work in various weather conditions and navigate different terrainsExceptional time management and organizational skillsCustomer-oriented mindset with a friendly and professional demeanorFlexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekendsDetail-oriented approach to ensure accurate deliveries and maintain vehicle cleanlinessBasic mechanical knowledge for routine vehicle inspectionsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamStrong problem-solving skills to handle unexpected situations efficientlyBe 18 years or older with 2 years of driving experienceAdditional InformationDepth perceptionAbility to differentiate between hot and cold surfacesTemperamentsThe ability to direct activities, perform repetitive tasks, work alone and with others, work under stress, meet strict quality control standards, deal with people, analyze and compile data, make judgments and decisionsPhysical Requirements including, but not limited to the following:DrivingDeliver pizzas within a designated delivery area, a Team Member may make several deliveries per shiftStandingMost tasks are performed from a standing positionWalkingFor short distances for short durationsLiftingBulk product deliveries are made twice a week or more and are unloaded by the team member using a hand truckDeliveries may include cases of ingredients and supplies weighing up to 50 pounds with dimensions of up to 3' x 1.5'Cases are usually lifted from floor and stacked onto shelves up to 72highCarryingLarge cans, weighing 3 pounds, 7 ounces, are carried from the workstation to storage shelvesOccasionally, pizza sauce weighing 30 pounds is carried from the storage room to the front of the storeTrays of pizza dough are carried three at a time over short distances, and weigh approximately 12 pounds per trayPushingTo move trays which are placed on dollies. A stack of trays on a dolly is approximately 24- 30 and requires a force of up to 7.5 pounds to pushTrays may also be pulledClimbingTeam members must infrequently navigate stairs or climb a ladder to change prices on signs, wash walls, perform maintenanceStooping/BendingForward bending at the waist is necessary at the pizza assembly stationToe room is present, but workers are unable to flex their knees while standing at this stationDuration of this position is approximately 30 - 45 seconds at one time, repeated continuously during the dayForward bending is also present at the front counter and when stocking ingredientsCrouching/SquattingPerformed occasionally to stock shelves and to clean low areasReachingReaching is performed continuously; up, down and forwardHand TasksEye-hand coordination is essential; use of hands is continuous during the dayFrequently activities require use of one or both handsShaping pizza dough requires frequent and forceful use of forearms and wrists
