Responsibilities

• Develop, coordinate and deliver care to Telemetry patients within the Med Surg/Telemetry scope
• Maintain the standards of professional nursing practice and patient safety
• Supervise CNA/SNA or other health care workers as assigned
• Read monitors, manage cardiac drips, and coordinate care for post-surgical cases
• Document patient care accurately and collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to ensure quality outcomes

Requirements

• Active Illinois RN license required at time of submission
• BLS/CPR (AHA) required; ACLS (AHA) required; NIHSS required
• Stepdown experience required
• 4 years Med Surg/Telemetry experience required
• Experience with reading monitors, cardiac drips, and post-surgical cases; adult and geriatric patient care
• Fully COVID-19 vaccinated
• Current documentation of Staffing Agency's IL Nurse Agency Certificate (must include a copy in traveler submission)
