Contract Details

• Position Type: Contract
• Contract Duration: 6 months
• Pay Rate: $79.20$83.20 / Hour (USD)
• Shift / Schedule: 3x12 Variable Day (7:0019:00) / Night (19:007:00)
• Guaranteed Hours: 60 hours per 2 weeks (traveler can be called off for 1, 12-hour shift per 2 weeks)
• Work Authorization: Applicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa at this time.

Job Summary

This is a Labor and Delivery travel nursing opportunity at an Acute Care Medical Center / Long Term Care Facility / Outpatient site classified as a Level IV Trauma, Critical Access Hospital. The facility operates 46 acute care beds and 22 long-term care beds and uses Epic for charting.

Required Skills

• Labor and Delivery clinical nursing skills per unit direction
• Ability to float within scope to meet facility needs
• Weekend availability required
• On-call: not required

Education Requirements

• Active RN License required (Pending License not accepted)
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) Required
• BLS (Basic Life Support) Required
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) Required
• AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring Required

Required Experience

• Minimum 1 year of Labor and Delivery nursing experience
• First-time travelers accepted

Important Notes

• Local candidates not accepted candidate's permanent address must be at least 50 miles from the facility
• Pending license not accepted active RN license required at time of submission
• Pets are not allowed in facility-provided housing
• Housing units are typically sized for the traveler only; bringing additional family members is not common and requires facility approval
• Housing unit must be cleaned upon departure or additional cleaning fees will be billed to the traveler
