Dental Assistant / EFDA – Coraopolis, PA

Progressive Dental Group is seeking a friendly, dependable Dental Assistant or Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (EFDA) to join our growing team! We are looking for a motivated team player who is passionate about providing excellent patient care in a positive, supportive environment.

Schedule, Full Time

Duties & Responsibilities

• Prepare treatment rooms and patients for procedures
• Assist the dentist during a variety of dental procedures
• Take digital X-rays and maintain accurate patient records
• Sterilize and maintain instruments and equipment
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care
• Manage inventory and maintain a clean, organized clinical area
• Perform expanded functions (for EFDA candidates) as permitted by Pennsylvania regulations
• Provide exceptional patient care and support to the dental team

Requirements

• Dental Assistant experience preferred
• EFDA certification is a plus but not required
• Current X-ray certification (or ability to obtain)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Organized, dependable, and detail-oriented
• Positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team
