Position Summary Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law invites entry‑level and experienced applicants for a visiting professorship in the school’s nationally ranked Legal Communication and Analysis Program. The visitor position is full‑time and expected to teach up to 40 first‑year students in Legal Communication and Analysis each semester. Responsibilities: Create course materials. Teach class sessions. Meet with students in one‑on‑one conferences. Review outlines and drafts. Assess papers. Provide detailed and constructive feedback to students. Appointment: a ten‑month term for the 2026–27 academic year, with the possibility of reappointment for 2027–28. The visitor will receive an entry‑level salary of $80,000, a professional development fund for legal writing conferences and publications, a research assistant fund, and university benefits. Summer teaching with additional compensation may also be possible. Qualifications: Strong academic record and writing skills. Teaching experience.
