Assigned area of specialty which can include Chemistry OR Hematology, Coag and Urinalysis. Oversees evaluation and maintenance of new and existing instrumentation/ procedures. Develops and monitors quality control programs related to a specific section. Maintains policies and procedures that meet State, JCAHO and other agency requirements. Oversees training and performance of section personnel. Performs all duties of section staff. Qualifications Minimum Education: Possesses a Bachelor’s Degree in laboratory technology or related science Minimum Experience/Skills: Five (5) years experience in a clinical laboratory in area of specialty Licenses/Certificates/Credentials: California Clinical Laboratory Scientist License OR California Clinical Laboratory Specialty License #LI-AR2 Organization Description San Ramon Regional Medical Center is a 123-bed acute care hospital known for providing comprehensive inpatient, outpatient and emergency care.
