Office Assistant

We are seeking a detail-oriented Office Assistant with bookkeeping experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting with day-to-day office activities and supporting both Accounting and Operations in maintaining contracts, permits, and key deliverables. Responsibilities include: Performing general office duties such as answering phones, managing mail, scanning, and planning company functions. Assisting with grounds maintenance and organization. Processing insurance claims. Maintaining digital and physical filing systems for equipment tracking, customer contract originations, vehicle titles, registrations, inspections, insurance, and permits. Inputting and filing subcontractor insurance data. Purchasing office supplies. Managing company cell phones and printer supplies. Assisting with clerical duties in Accounting, Human Resources, and Operations. Supporting Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes. Qualifications: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel). Good written and verbal communication skills. Experience in trucking and construction industries is a plus. Basic knowledge of accounts payable and receivable. Highly organized, detail-oriented, accurate, and able to self-check work. Ability to work independently with some oversight and collaboratively in a team environment. Must be able to follow established procedures while multitasking in a fast-paced environment.
