Locum Tenens: Family Medicine APP Opportunity in Nebraska

Target Start Date : 2/5/2023 Target End Date: 12/27/2024 A federal facility in Nebraska has an opening for a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to provide locum Family Medicine coverage. Opening Highlights:
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
• National Institutes of Health (NIH)
• Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
• Active unencumbered Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner Nebraska state license
• Graduate from a fully accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program
• One year of work experience as Family Practice Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner
• One year of Epic experience
• Board Certified SKILLS/ABILITIES/COMPETENCIES REQUIRED:
• Maintains and updates clinical knowledge and skills.
• Participates in relevant continuing education programs.
• Knowledge of and dedication to the highest patient care and provide the utmost service excellence to all patients.
• Ability to take initiative and to exercise independent judgment, decision-making and problem-solving expertise.
• A can-do, team oriented attitude is essential, as the ability to work independently and to interact easily with physicians, other managers and staff throughout the department and hospital.
• Effective interpersonal/communication, organizational, and the flexibility to handle multiple tasks. Requirements:

- Schedule: 8:00a-5:00p, Saturday & Sunday
- No call
- Board certification required
- Complimentary travel & lodging
