Job Description
- Craft Individualized Treatment Plans: Assess patients' needs and formulate tailored therapy strategies to help them reach their functional aspirations
- Deliver Therapeutic Interventions: Employ evidence-based approaches to improve patients' motor skills, cognitive functions, and daily living activities
- Collaborate with Multidisciplinary Teams: Work closely with OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nursing staff to provide comprehensive, patient-centered care
- Educate Patients and Caregivers: Guide patients and families on therapeutic techniques for sustained progress outside of clinical settings
- Track Progress and Document Outcomes: Monitor patient improvement and adapt treatment plans as necessary to ensure success
- Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Encouragement for continued education and post-graduate certifications
- Valid Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license required
- NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification is a must
- A genuine passion for assisting others and a commitment to helping them achieve their utmost independence
- Strong communication skills characterized by empathy and clarity when interacting with patients and colleagues alike
