Security Installation Technician

The Commercial Installer also dismantles and reconstructs equipment when necessary.The Commercial Installer will:Install appropriate devices; dismantle and reconstruct equipment as required by customer or Tyco Integrated Security.Work safely and responsibly to avoid injuries, damage to property, loss of unused materials and clean up installation debris.Contact customers prior to the date of scheduled installation to verify schedule.Prepare estimates in accordance with prescribed instructions or directions of supervisor.Follow proper schematic wiring diagrams and hook-up procedures.Test operation of system to the signal-receiving center to properly establish service.Read building, electrical and sprinkler blueprints as required.Coordinate installations with police/fire departments and handle necessary records for notification of emergency calls.May manage installation teams on larger projects.Coach and mentor less experienced installers.Travel required, using provided company vehicle and equipment.Required:Oregon LEA or Journeyman license.25% - 30% travel.6+ years of electrical and electronic equipment experience with demonstrated mechanical aptitude.Ability to read blueprints and schematic drawings.Experience bending conduit.Ability to operate hand and power tools.Ability to always operate fleet vehicle in a safe manner.Ability to communicate and provide excellent customer service.Preferred:NICET Certification.Wash ELO6 license.CCTV certifications.HIRING HOURLY RANGE: $38-44 (Hourly rate to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.)
