Flow CoordinatorLifekind Health is looking for a full-time Flow Coordinator in our Rancho Mirage clinic responsible for supporting efficient clinic operations by coordinating patient flow, ensuring patients are seen by all required disciplines, and assisting with scheduling, communication, and daily workflow management. Our team of medical doctors, psychologists, chiropractors, acupuncturists, and dietitians work together within a revolutionary transdisciplinary model that addresses the quadruple aim of healthcare: enhancing patient experience, improving patient health, reducing healthcare costs, and increasing employee satisfaction.Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pmClinic Flow ManagementMonitor patient movement throughout the clinic to reduce idle time and improve efficiencyGuide patients through the clinic process to ensure a positive and seamless experienceComplete pre-scrum checklist preparation for the following clinic daySend pod assignments per unit as directedReport patient interactivity, workflow concerns, and operational updates during daily scrum meetingsMaintain awareness of daily staffing assignments, including openers, closers, and coverage needsPatient Scheduling & CoordinationSchedule all patient follow-up appointments accurately and in a timely mannerEnsure patients are seen by all required disciplines, including Medication Provider, Primary Recovery (PR), Care Team, and Behavioral Health (BH)Review daily, weekly, and monthly schedules to ensure units remain within established capacity limitsContact all non-ECM patient no-shows daily and document outreach efforts, including rescheduling outcomesAssist with patient scheduling adjustments to support clinic flow and operational needsBehavioral Health & Documentation SupportEnsure Behavioral Health providers have all required patient paperwork prepared and availableReview flagged patients and coordinate Behavioral Health involvement when appropriateEnsure patient outcomes, assessments, and required documentation are completed prior to patient dischargeAssist with scanning and uploading patient documents into appropriate systems and electronic recordsCommunication & Operational SupportCommunicate effectively with providers, Medical Assistants, Behavioral Health, Care Team, and leadership to support clinic operationsReport end-of-day efficiencies, workflow challenges, and operational updates to leadershipAddress patient concerns professionally and escalate issues appropriately when necessarySupport collaboration across departments to ensure smooth clinic operations and quality patient careAssist leadership with workflow improvement initiatives and operational projects as neededOur Ideal Candidate will have the following qualifications:High School Diploma or equivalent requiredMedical Assistant certification or Associate's degree preferredStrong customer service and patient engagement abilitiesKnowledge of scheduling systems, electronic medical records (EMR/EHR), and office software preferredBasic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification good to haveAbility to work effectively in a fast-paced clinical environmentAbility to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teamsAt Lifekind, we believe our employees deserve the best.
