Works under physicians' orders. Responsibilities Provide Physical Therapy services to residents and initiate referrals when appropriate, in accordance with department procedures. Conduct regular screenings of residents to determine the need for intervention or treatment. Evaluate residents to obtain data necessary for treatment planning and implementation. Perform specialized evaluations as indicated. Adhere to established confidentiality standards. Implement and conduct treatment as outlined in the treatment plan. Follow management direction. Perform other duties as assigned. Education and Experience Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy from an accredited program. Successful completion of the National Certification Examination for Registered Physical Therapist. Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure. 0–3 years of long‑term care experience.
