Veterinary Oncologist

Location: Bentonville, AR (On-Site / Fully In-Person)

Status: Full-Time Only (1 Founding Specialty Opening)

Compensation Structure: $180,000 Base Salary + Production Bonus (Simple, transparent payout architecture)

• Earning Potential: Up to $390,000.00+ per year based on production volume.

  Relocation Incentive: Up to $20,000 in reimbursable relocation expenses.

  Setting: Privately Owned, Surgeon-Led Specialty Startup & Referral Hub

  Experience Level: Open to New Graduates / Incoming 2027 Residency Leavers (Must be Board-Certified or Board-Eligible by 2027).

  Target Start Date: March or April 2027 (Aligned with the grand opening launch).

Practice inside a newly renovated, state-of-the-art 12,000 square foot premier specialty center engineered for zero-compromise specialty care. The technology suite includes:

• Three advanced, fully equipped surgical suites.

• A cutting-edge 64-slice CT scanner featuring 3D reconstruction capabilities .

• Advanced high-resolution diagnostic ultrasound units.

• Modern endoscopy tower configurations.

• Direct digital radiography (DR) suites.

• A comprehensive, fully staffed in-house diagnostic laboratory matrix.

• Specialty Launch: Take the clinical helm to build and brand the oncology department from the ground up, establishing referral protocols, chemotherapy safety standards, and patient pipelines.

• Clinical Scope: Deliver elite consultative, diagnostic, and medical oncology care for a high-income, deeply motivated patient demographic.

• Interdisciplinary Synthesis: Work hand-in-hand with the board-certified surgeon and an experienced technical support squad to handle complex medical-surgical oncological cases.

• Referral Synergy: Foster strong, collaborative communication lines with Northwest Arkansas's primary care veterinary network.

• Shift Structure: Structured entirely over a 4-day work week, operating from 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM .

• Education: Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM / VMD) or equivalent doctoral degree from an accredited veterinary medical program.

• Board Status: Diplomate status within the American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine (DACVIM - Oncology) OR a residency-trained veterinarian fully eligible to sit for board certification exams by 2027.

• Licensure: Active veterinary license in the State of Arkansas, or immediate eligibility to secure licensure prior to the Spring 2027 launch window.

• Financial Protection: $180,000 guaranteed base salary paired with an un-capped production bonus framework scaling easily to $390,000.00+ annually .
