Work Environment

This position is onsite at our vibrant rehabilitation center located in Mountain View, CA. Within this setting, you will interact daily with a diverse patient population, including individuals recovering from surgeries, sports injuries, and chronic pain conditions. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients' physical conditions to collaboratively determine appropriate treatment plans aligned with their recovery goals.
• Implement a variety of evidence-based therapeutic techniques, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and modalities such as ultrasound and electrical stimulation, to support patient rehabilitation.
• Regularly assess patient progress and modify treatment approaches as necessary to ensure optimal recovery outcomes.
• Educate patients about their conditions, provide personalized home exercise regimens, and encourage active participation in their own rehabilitation.
• Maintain accurate and comprehensive documentation of patient records, ensuring compliance with clinic standards and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to coordinate care and provide holistic treatment to patients.
• Build strong, therapeutic relationships with patients to inspire confidence, provide motivation, and foster a positive environment for healing.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your work will focus on a diverse range of patients, primarily within the orthopedic rehabilitation sector. You will be guiding individuals recovering from sports-related injuries, post-surgical rehabilitation, and chronic musculoskeletal conditions. Each patient presents a unique set of challenges and needs, giving you an opportunity to apply tailored therapeutic techniques to enhance their rehabilitation experience.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid California state licensure as a Physical Therapist.
• Strong foundation in human anatomy and physiology as it relates to physical therapy practices.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in a physical therapy setting, preferably focused on outpatient orthopedic care.
• Experience in sports rehabilitation, post-operative care, or chronic pain management is highly desirable.

Compensation and Benefits
