Radiologic Technologist

Instruct and prepare clients/patients for radiologic examinations; determine the most suitable anatomical posture and positions and shield clients/patients appropriately; position and operate stationary or portable radiologic machines and take x-rays for a variety of all body structures; process, develop, and make copies and fix x-ray films; prepare solutions for processing films; assist cases and identify photographs; maintain equipment and quarters.

The PLP program reduces the monthly gross salary but provides PLO leave credits in lieu of pay. The amount of salary reduction depends on the classification and associated union Bargaining Unit (BU). The BU that represents this position is BU#20 – Service Employees International Union (SEUI). The expected salary reduction will be 3% of the salary identified above, and you will accrue approximately 5 hours of PLP each qualifying pay period. Incumbents will be subject to the PLP salary reduction and leave accruals through June 30, 2027.
