Overview:

Are you passionate about helping people look and feel their best while delivering top-notch customer care? As an Optical Sales Associate at Atlantic Eye, you will combine fashion, style, and healthcare to help our patients find the perfect frames and lens options for their lifestyle. Working alongside our doctors and opticians, you’ll guide patients through their vision benefits, accurately process eyewear sales, and provide custom frame adjustments. If you are a sales-minded team player who thrives in a patient-focused environment and wants to build a rewarding career, we want you on our team! Note: traveling between our 5 Monmouth county locations is required.

Responsibilities:

• Provide personalized assistance to patients, guiding them through the selection process to find the perfect eyewear solutions.
• Maintain records of sales transactions and customer data to facilitate efficient operations and personalized service in future interactions.
• Create an inviting and organized work environment, reflecting our commitment to professionalism and patient care.
• Exhibit a sharp attention to detail, consulting with Opticians and Doctors as needed to ensure optimal customer satisfaction and eyewear solutions. 
• Display a willingness to learn and adapt, including the mastery of optical tools and basic repair techniques to enhance customer service capabilities.
• Educate customers on proper eyewear care and maintenance.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends in eyewear fashion and technology.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Optical or sales experience preferred. 
• Strong communication and customer service skills. 
• Detail-oriented and comfortable with technology. 
• Motivated to grow in a fast paced, patient focused environment. 

Work Schedule:

• Monday-Friday 8:30AM-5:00PM Flexibility is key, with occasional availability required on weekends and evenings.
