The ideal candidate for this receptionist type position will have a minimum of 1-3 years of medical office experience. Excellent communication skills are essential. A knowledge of medical terminology and computer skills are a must. Job duties include but are not limited to: providing information to patients, obtain patient signature on specified documents, schedule follow-up appointments, enter patient recall information, verify phone number for referrals, answer phones and schedule appointments, confirm appointments for next business day, clerical duties as assigned.

Qualifications: high school diploma or general equivalency diploma (GED) (Required), minimum one year recent experience working in a medical facility as a patient services representative (PSR) or check-out person. (Preferred) Skills: skill in tact and diplomacy in interpersonal interactions, accurate typing skills, ability to operate general office equipment, ability to manage multi-line phone system. Abilities: ability to learn and retain information regarding procedures, ability to project a pleasant and professional image, ability to plan, prioritize, and complete delegated tasks, ability to demonstrate compassion and caring in dealing with others, work in team atmosphere. Schedule: after introductory period, schedule will be 9- 5:30 Monday & Friday; 10 - 6:30 Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday. You must be able to work this schedule. Compensation: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour.
